The music that I compose is known as the invisible actor. That sums up my job very precisely.

I´m composing for moving pictures, image films & commercials, broadcast and large scale multi media shows around the world.

This site serves to showcase my scoring work without any claim of completeness.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you want to learn more about my work or have a new project in mind.

Just drop me an email along to Selcuk. I read every message and will do my very best to respond within 24 hours.

I’d love to hear from you…
Selcuk Torun

Do you really want to know which schools I attended as a teenager? So let’s skip that…

Here’s the relevant part:

Born in Munich/Germany (Turkish descent).

Professional composer for film, TV & media since 1998.

Five years piano lessons (classical and jazz). My teachers were Concert pianists Eberhard Wetzel (Salzburg/A) and Thomas Knapp (Kufstein/A).

Studied „Film Music / Orchestration“ at Thinkspace (Guy Mitchelmore, Portsmouth/GBR) and Diploma thesis about „Cinematic Orchestration“ (Milton Nelson, Los Angeles/USA).

My workshop.

I really love my studio, but there is more to music then a comfy room.
It begins in your heart… before anyone else ever hears it.
